Making paper

Re: Making paper

I still haven't managed to get along to a paper making workshop. But I did visit the last remaining water powered paper mill when in the Netherlands on #worldtour2011 - It was a rushed chaotic visit. But I loved every minute of it.

I do really want to get into papermaking again.
Here, mostly for my own reference, are links to equipment sellers.

A3, A4 and A5 kits - including an envelope Deckle.

not digital?

Since you use your hands to make hand-made paper, I'd argue it's fully digital :-)

Ahhh paper!

It was lovely reading this blog Donna,
I had a nice 'me too' moment thinking about my own paper fetish as i sit (like usual) in front of my computer. Ahhhh Japanese origami papers, thick handmade paper with twigs and leaves fused inside and even lovely things made out of old novels and discarded telephone books. Years ago I too was transfixed by the whole paper making process, though I haven't made any in a very long time. Yesterday I was trawling through the Flickr photo groups looking for paper crafty things and found a few like Paper Fetish interesting ones like http://www.flickr.com/groups/51073405@N00/ and Paper Craft http://www.flickr.com/groups/papercraft/
: )
